Train, Train, Train...

So much training, so my progress made, so much more to make. When I first entered the water some weeks ago I had to stop every 30 meters for a breather, now I go 200 to 300 meters before pulling on the side for a 5 second rest. Tomorrow back into the water for 50 minutes.
As for running, today I did 3.35 miles in 35 minutes running between 5 and 7 mph, I did not have a set distance to do today, just complete 35 mins on an easy run. I kept varying the speed a little to work on endurance and speed. As I said before for the Corporate Run, I did it in 24 minutes, At what speed did I do at the Corp. Run?
I do not where I read it, but it said to train without socks that during a race you will not use them. So for the past two weeks I have not used socks during training and my feet are getting more use it, NO BLISTERS!!.
